Taste of Blue Ash 2006
Blue Ash, OH
August 26, 2006, 2006

The night of August 26th, in Blue Ash, Ohio, was not only a perfect night to attend a festival, but it was also a perfect night for a Loverboy concert.

Once again, Loverboy started the show off with bang and continued the high energy throughout the show. They took the stage singing “Notorious” and played other favorites like “Take Me To The Top”, “Lucky Ones”, “The Kid is Hot Tonite”, “Lady of the 80's”, “Turn Me Loose”, and my fave and Mike's fave, “When It's Over”. They also played 2 of their new songs, the beautiful ballad, “The One That Got Away”, and the rockin' “I'm Alive”.

The audience was on their feet singing, dancing, and screaming as Mike had us help him sing “Hot Girls In Love”, “Working For The Weekend”, and “Lovin' Every Minute of It”. (They performed “Lovin' and “Jump” for an encore.)

Mike sounded awesome, as always, hitting every high note, especially during “Turn Me Loose”. Paul and Spider were smokin' on the guitar and bass while Matt and Doug were jammin' too! As an added bonus, Mike took off his sunglasses during the show allowing all of us to see his sexy blue eyes! That caused the crowd to go wild!

Loverboy also played part of a Doors' song, (“Gotta Love Your Man”), during “Take Me To The Top” and Steve Wonder's “Superstitious” and the Beatles' “Come Together” during “Lovin' Every Minute of It”, which only proved that they can really rock!

Blue Ash, Ohio experienced Loverboy at their best and I am glad that I made the 4-hour trip to see them. It was apparent that everyone that night was “Lovin' Every Minute of It”!
